FUTURE MEETINGS
Welcome! Our group is comprised of
computer application trainers and user support specialists who primarily
work in the law firm environment in the greater Washington DC metro area.
Our membership is free. Our goal is to share our training techniques and
experiences with each other as well as brainstorm solutions to training or
computer problems.
We meet every other month. Location varies depending on which
member is hosting the meeting. Generally, the location is in the
"Golden Triangle" area of downtown Washington, D.C.

Word 2007 and Word 2010. Stacy and Jeffrey will talk about how to
build a training strategy that doesn't center around which version of
Word you firm will ultimately choose, but instead allows you to
effortless train through the versions.
Specific topics include:
• Overlays of the two products which reveal specific
differences
• Advice on building a sound strategy for various upgrade
paths
• Benchmarks to estimate how much training to plan for your
various audiences
• A quick summary of the truly "new" features of Word 2010
Best of all, Stacy and Jeffrey will share a "hype-free" review of the
handful of features that matter most to legal users, and how they have
been impacted by the changes introduced in Word 2007 and carried through
